BEWARE of FindYouAPlace.com: Operators of ClearMyCase have a New SCAM targeting registrants

March 13, 2019, 7:40 pm

The operators of ClearMyCase.com have a new scam and they are going after the same victims – people required to register.

John Bordelon, the man behind ClearMyCase is now again using the registry as a marketing list to pitch FINDYOUAPLACE.COM. They charge an up-front $99 and claim to find housing for registrants. In a recording provided to FAC, John Bordelon claims to be a real estate broker who has been helping registrants find housing since 2014. According to the Texas Real Estate Commission, he has never held a license as a real estate salesperson or broker.

If you receive a flyer in the mail, we suggest you contact the Texas Real Estate Commission (512-936-3000) or your local police.
