I plead guilty to corruption of minor in 2015 and was told I would not have to register by the judge, my lawyer, and DA. However, I was forced to register being threatened with more jail time after I did four years incarceration. 2025 I received a letter from the State Police saying that “after reviewing your conviction record it has been revealed that you do not meet the requirements to register under Megan’s Law. Your information will be taken off the website, and you no longer have to report.” Now I know that’s good news, but what about my life being changed by 10 years of being online as a ‘sex offender’???. They pretty much told me it was a mistake. What do I do now?
