The lie and justice system

My name is Jim and I live in Ohio. Back in 2010 when I arrived in the state, I met a woman at church we started to date. Going out to dinner, amusement parks, and getting to know each other. We both lived in separate homes at first, but later decided to move in together. I transferred my mail to her place and started to receive my pension checks from my old job. She wasn’t working, but had income coming from her ex-husband who also attended the same church, (strike one). I met some of the friends she dealt with at the church and got a story from one guy who told me that this woman cheated on her ex-husband and was caught in bed with another guy, (strike two). I kept the conversation to myself and continued our relationship. We slept in the same bed and were intimate many times. She gave me a key when I moved in. She also kept her eyes on the mailbox always looking for my pension checks, (strike three).

This was a regular occurrence and she seemed to be looking for money from me constantly. We started having arguments at times about her staying out late at night. After one disagreement, she kicked me out so I went to stay at the housing units, and after that, I stopped all contact with her. Weeks later when my pension checks came, she wanted to talk to me looking for money. She brought me my check but wanted to talk in the car.

I talked to her and listened to what she had to say, and afterwards I went back inside the housing unit, but in the middle of the night received a phone call from her saying she was lonely and wanted to see me. I gave in to her and we were intimate that night. The next morning when I woke up she was gone. I later found out when she came back that she had her family members with her to attack me.  She called the cops on me saying I sexually took advantage of her. WOW!  It really hurt me to know she would lie on me and dealing with the justice system they would believe a crying, lying woman like her story. She told the court we only had consensual intercourse once. Another WOW 😲. Now I am stuck for life registering. WOW!
