In February 2020, I was arrested for failing to follow the Missouri Halloween Restriction. However, according to a new Supreme Court ruling in 2008, I do not have to follow that Restriction because of the date of my Sex offense conviction. I knew about the change, 6 years ago & even though i do not have to abide by that law, I abide by it anyways — allegedly WITH THE EXCEPTION that I do not post the sign on my door.  I am currently awaiting to appear in court & my lawyer says the charges  will most likely be dropped. However, i want to make sure this doesn't happen again & want to send out letters to police departments & prosecuting attorneys with copies of the Supreme Court ruling and filing lawsuits. Anybody have any feedback on this ?
