Forced to fight: Rights to be with your child

Many years ago I had saved my son’s life twice once from drowning and once from choking. In April 2011 my county and city officials passed local ordinances kicking me out of parks, harbors and beaches. Such bans prevented me from being with my son in those places. Problem: a parent is the first line of protection and safety for their child but because of being on SOR my children aren’t allowed such protection. So, I sold my hair salon, invented an in salon scissor sharpening machine and system. Then used it to harness salons and barber shops to get people elected to office. It worked! The ONLY person to know of my registry situation was the candidate. Giving in the name of my candidate made him/her the hero but the affects of giving spread by candidate by candidate and when a piece of legislation came across the politicians desk to do harm to registrants and their families? Well, a serious pause now takes place! At least in California. I now train others via Zoom across the country to do the same. We all need to use our gifts, passions and talents to join the fight and partner up with organizations like Women Against Registry.
