I wanted to introduce you to Jeremy Rose. He is a person who is listed on the public registry in the state of Utah. Jeremy was a police officer before his arrest in 2013. He is now on the registry. Recently, he was blasted by FOX 13 Utah about his presence at Bear River High School in Tremonton, Utah.
I interviewed Jeremy because I want everyone to hear his side of the story, and show how the registry affects families. Furthermore, my focus was also on how the media portrays people who are listed on the registry as "dangerous people" that can never be trusted again. (which is of course untrue)
Jeremy is a survivor. He has persevered with his family by his side. He's a strong person that's had enough of the shame and guilt the registry creates.
